Welcome to Becoming an Outdoors Woman in New Hampshire
Becoming An Outdoors-Woman is a workshop focused on the learning of outdoor skills - skills usually associated with hunting and fishing, but useful for many outdoor pursuits. Designed primarily for women, it is an opportunity for anyone 18 years of age or older, and is for you if:
- you have never tried these activities and want the opportunity to learn;
- you are a beginner looking to improve your skills;
- you are familiar with some outdoor activities, but would like to try your hand at new challenges;
- you are looking for the camaraderie of like-minded individuals.

Upcoming NHBOW workshops:
The 2009 B.O.W Fall Weekend Workshop will be held September 11, 12 and 13th at Rockywold/Deephaven Camps in Holderness. A special celebration for the 15th Anniversary of NH BOW will be included in the weekend. The 2009 Fall Weekend Workshop Brochure , the Registration Form with Medical Questionnaire and Scholarship Form are now available for download. Registration opens on June 8th. The cost for the 2009 fall 3 day workshop is $295. This fee covers
all lodging, meals, equipment and instruction for the weekend. Please see our
scholarship section for information on scholarship availability.
Cook Like a Wild Woman will be held August 22nd-23rd at Barry Conservation Camp in Milan, NH. The cost of the event is $60, which includes all meals, lodging, instruction, recipes, menu planning and cooking materials. This new Beyond BOW event promises be an educational, fun, relaxed weekend of exploring wild ways to cook - no experience necessary! The Cook Like a Wild Woman Brochure and the Registration Form with Medical History Questionnaire are now available for download. Registrations will be accepted starting June 15th.
The 2009 Beyond BOW Intermediate Fly Fishing workshop will be held September 25th - 27th at Purity Springs resort in Madison, NH. The cost of the event is $275 which includes all meals, lodging, instruction and materials. The Workshop Brochure is now available for download, the Registration Form will be posted on July 24th with applications accepted starting July 27th.
The 2009 B.O.W. Winter Workshop - was held Feb. 21st.
