Poem by the Women of the Sharing Nature with Children Workshop Fall 2009
What's new

I look up, layer on layer on layer, sun beams limelight through beech leaves

The sweet smell of fall consumes me as I close my eyes and breathe in

I love the feel and texture of nature

The way the leaves and sun play is a pleasure

Revealing hiding places for interesting treasure

Makes me feel like a kid again and again and again

free to play.  time to reflect and use one's imagination

to see your surroundings in different ways

wilderness women awakening/reconnecting with nature

remembering past touchstones. completing.

- written by the women in Sharing Nature with Children session at B.O.W.
